I'm planning a week in Steamboat the end of June. Any tips/suggestions/honey holes for the Yampa and surrounding waters? We're hoping to explore beyond just the Yampa but I guess it all depends on conditions, etc.

I've seen this fish before, frickin' huge! Too bad it wasn't caught on a fly.

Boy Bruce..that is a loaded question. Depends on your pocketbook and time allotment. The South Platte is fishing well from what I understand...the Arkansas will have it's famous caddis hatch in a few weeks...salmon fly hatch on the Gunnison in May..…

I have close friends who also have properties in GMF which have been in their families for generations, also. Seems to be the way it goes there!
