Sockeye Salmon Fishing
Guided sockeye salmon fishing on the Kenai River and Kasilof River begins in the middle of June and lasts through the middle of August on most years. Sockeye salmon fishing offers you ample opportunities for fly fishing success! Sockeye salmon are also known as Reds.

Alaska Salmon Fishing
Guided Kenai River and Kasilof River Salmon Fishing from the beginning of the King Salmon run in late May to Silver Salmon fishing in late September. Yea, you're right about the traffic. I had no idea that it was opening day for reds. We had a few boats go right over us when we were stalking some bows. That was a bit frustrating. I was just glad to have a boat to get into the side channels.
I will be in Anchorage a few times a year and would love to hook up with you.
I wasn't able to fish due to time constraints, but was able to fly out to Lake Clark and wow, what a beautiful place. Next time I'm up there I want to fish for grayling and pike. I heard that the area where I was is loaded with large fish - all native.
