Chris, the glover is nice but I know of some other flows that not many people know about where the fishing is fantastic. They are out of the way for the average fisherman, but If you have a kayak, come on up. My friends and I are going to have sort of a fishing camp this spring where we are going to stay on one such river that has some great smb/lmb/spotted fishing and you guys are welcome to come. It will be a blast. This is a great site to keep tabs on the smallmouth fishing in the south:

start school the Aug. 24th. Pick a weekend this fall that works. Oct. is the best time or early Nov. I have two more years of school left. I just finished my 1L year.

the bite should still be pretty hott as long as we keep getting rain. Im free to fish from Aug. 12-22 and will prob be fishing every day over that span. Planning on living on the river during that time period so come on up it will be a great time.

lets make it happen soon, water is coffee color right now but should be clear by wednesday. planning on putting two full days in muskie fishing wed. thursday, then heading up to the upper manistee in michigan for four days. ill let ya know how the fishing is and get the official plans for muskie summer 2009 rolling.

chris, fishing the nolan in the am. It was awesome there saturday. the fort worth flyfishers had an outing there, and we caught over i'm guessing 400!!!!! it wa stupid, it was so good. meet us there at say 7:00am???

chris, you fish the nolan recently?? i have been pulling 10-15 fish out of there, everytime I go, lately. fish are way down stream, and very moody. not real sure if there is going to be a good run this year. ttyl, russell
