Event Description
Come and bring your family to our second annual GRTU social and educational event, the GRTU Troutfest. Here's a brief overview of events:
Friday Night
7:00 – 10:00 p.m. Mixer, sign up for events, silent auctions, local information, and fish stories. Everyone bring an appetizer to share, and BYOB.
Saturday
7:30 -8:30 a.m. Breakfast tacos for sale $1 at the BBQ grill.
All day: River mentors. Each hour, a river mentor will be available to help small groups
All day: Fly tying demo’s and instruction -- bring your own vise and tools and tie along with us!
9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Bug for breakfast! Kids bug class by Al Crise FFF master casting instructor
12:30 – 2:00 p.m. Casting instruction by Al Crise FFF master casting instructor
1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Build at Trout Ref magnet and Trout coloring (Kids Craft)
6:00 – 10:00 p.m. Campfire Cookout and Silent Auction. Bring your lawn chairs.
Sunday
Open day for more fishing
Cost: Adults $20, Kids $10 includes all events and dinner
